BOTOX® is the first FDA-approved onabotulinum toxin – a mediation used for therapeutic and cosmetic use. Since 1989, when it was first used to treat strabismus, BOTOX® has been in the spotlight due to the amazing results and safety. BOTOX® relaxes muscles in the face that are responsible for the formation of wrinkles.
When Will You See Results?
Results post injection from Dysport® are seen 1-2 days after injection. BOTOX® is reportedly 7-14 days before results are noticed. Results Last 10-12 Weeks!
Cost per unit?
BOTOX® $10 a unit. If it is a specialty injection those prices will vary because they are based on expert training not the units used. These injections are more sophisticated and require a seasoned injector to administer and achieve the desired results.
Where is it used?
In cosmetics, BOTOX® and Dysport® have several uses. Currently they are only FDA-approved for glabellar complex (between the eyes), the lateral canthal rhytids (crow’s feet) and forehead. There are several locations that BOTOX® can have a positive effect, however, these locations are considered off label but have been widely used by practitioners for years with great results.
Core Medical Center is now offering Natural Dermal Filler!
What is Hyaluronic acid (HA)?
It is natural substance that is found in joints, muscle, and other tissues in humans and other mammals.
Filers made from your own platelet rich plasma that is reinjected into the desired area and causes a lasting regenerative effect.
How do fillers fit in the big picture of your unique look?
Whether you need BOTOX®, fillers, KYBELLA®, platelet-rich plasma injections, or micro needling—all of these products and procedures are designed to make you look your best. These minimally invasive procedures are nonsurgical, and with the exception of KYBELLA®, are not permanent. If you do not like the results, you can go back to how you were before. Fillers can be reversed without having to go a full year, but this can cost as much as getting filler. At Core Medical Center we strive to cover the patients goals and expectations in the consult so that we know what you are looking for, and we can help you achieve that look without you making uninformed decisions. This allows us to guide you on the different procedures we have available and how they may work best to reach your personal goals.

KYBELLA® is the only FDA-approved injectable prescription medicine used in adults to improve the appearance and profile of moderate to severe fat below the chin. This nonsurgical approach is a permanent way to get rid of unwanted submental fat that can make you look older and unfit.
Before Treatment / Mid Treatment / After Treatment
How many treatments does it take?
This is a tailored treatment that is dependent on the severity of the submental area. The number of injections and treatments should be tailored to the individual patient’s submental fat distribution and treatment goals. On average 3 treatments are required for mild or moderate cases but patients with more severe submental fat could need 3-4 treatments and no more than 6. Treatments are no less than 4 weeks apart.
What is the down time?
KYBELLA® is a nonsurgical outpatient procedure that requires little to no down time. The most common responses upon receiving the injection include: temporary swelling and numbness. All of these resolve in 4-6 weeks, in most cases.
What does it cost?
